A.I.M. has the best root heating system on the market. The system consists of bench heating mats that fit the width of your bench (we can create any size). The mats are made to be linked together with supplied connectors. The bench heating system requires that hot water be pushed through the mat, hence the system requires a boiler to heat the water. In addition to the boiler and the mats you will also need the circulators (used to push water through the system), manifolds (used to regulate how many zones/different mat systems your require), flow controls (used to control water),switch relays (used in conjunction with a thermostat to regulate water temperature),& an expansion tank (to control expansion). The other option is to purchase a system that has all these components built for you in what we call our "Boiler Room In A Box." The Boiler Room In A Box has all the appropriate components required to heat your greenhouse, including the heat source (aka:the boiler). As you can see below, we have taken the guess work out of building a system for you with our extensive radiant heating knowledge with the highest quality products.

Contrary to other systems on the market, where the flow of water runs the length of the bench and then returns (allowing tremendous temperature differntials). Our system sends water the width of the bench allowing for a more even temperature across the entire bench.

Our Radiant Root mat has the water running across the bench and we have one manifold on both sides of the bench (one supply and one return). This allows the system to have the return being a reverse return. The mat has an even temperature from one end to the other and since the mat is only 4 ft. long they are easy to change required heating space. Why heat a 100 ft. long bench if you only need a 24 X 5 ft. for propagating?

Here is a great idea: For the Greenhouse owners that sell plants in early Spring and are afraid of frost you can use these mats as your floor in the driveway. Fill the system with Glycol and now have a system that can be used as a mini heated Greenhouse when frost is expected, simply turn on the heat cover with plastic and forget moving all the plants.

We sell heat exchangers if you want to have a separate loop with the glycol.
