The manifold is a critical part of your radiant installation. The manifold allows you to add additional heating zones within the home. A "zone" is a section where you can control the temperature. You normally add zones when you require different temperatures in parts of the home. Installing the proper manifold system will allow the homeowner to regulate the temperature of different floors or different rooms. A.I.M has used a variety of different manifold systems in the past but found that stainless steel manifolds are superior due to their durability. You choose how many zones you would like to have in the home and based on that number determine the required manifold (ex: 1,2,3 4, etc..)
